What file formats are supported?

VideoToBe accepts all common audio formats:

All common video formats are supported:
- MP4 (MPEG-4)
- MOV (QuickTime)
- AVI (Audio Video Interleave)
- MKV (Matroska)

Do you support images or documents?
No. VideoToBe only accepts audio and video files. Images (JPG, PNG), documents (PDF, DOCX), and other file types are not supported.
What's the maximum file size?
- Free Plan: 500MB per file
- Pro Plan: 2GB (2000MB) per file
What's the recommended audio quality?
For best transcription accuracy:
- Bitrate: 128 kbps or higher
- Sample Rate: 44.1 kHz or 48 kHz
- Channels: Mono or stereo
- Format: WAV or FLAC for highest quality, MP3 for smaller files
Can I upload videos?
Yes! VideoToBe automatically extracts audio from video files for transcription. You don't need to convert video to audio before uploading.
What video codecs are supported?
Most common codecs work, including:
